In the last few months, I have been working on a story that I hope to one day try to get published into the world (if I am happy with the end result).

As you guys know, writing is hard and finding motivation to continue is fleeting. So I will be using National Novel Writing Month as a way to write another 50k word into my manuscript. Currently, I am writing the bare bones of the story and then coming back to fix, rewrite and add color. So the current stuff is basically garbage, but first drafts are never supposed to be perfect…or so I tell myself.

Anyways, my work in progress is kinda a young adult novel but it has soon to be college student freshmen instead of your usual teenagers. A quick way to describe my story is: Two best friend witches go on a road trip and find themselves trying to scooby-doo the local town mystery…it all goes to hell.

There are three main characters: a Japanese Hufflepuff wanting to be accepted, a Hispanic Slytherin hiding a secret and a soft boy Gryffindor who wants to protect those he cares for. AKA Mis Brujitas (not real title…just a random title for now)
